Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a First Class City? The City of Grand Island is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Assistant to the City Administrator. This person will perform a variety of highly responsible and confidential administrative duties and special projects for the City Administrator; act as a liaison between departments and others; and provide assistance to the public. Work responsibilities require considerable initiative and independent judgment including budget review and approval of expenditures for the Administrative Department.
Experience working with community groups, managing large projects or administering grant programs is desired, as is experience working within a racially and culturally diverse environment with a commitment to citizen participation. Supervisory experience is also essential. |

| Requirements |
| A Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, public relations, economic development or related field is required. Post-offer/pre-employment physical and drug screen. |
