After you have created an account, you can quickly post job openings and manage your online recruiting efforts.
With almost 100,000 local government websites in the USA, it is impossible for job seekers to search all these sites to find job listings. GovtJobs.com is a niche website for the professional government employee seeking employment. Currently, over 800 other websites link to our site providing even greater exposure to an agency’s job posting(s). Remember, no person can search 100,000 websites looking for employment.
Ads are posted daily within 24 hours of receipt except on weekends and Federal holidays.
An ad remains posted for 60 days. Ads are posted daily (Monday – Friday) excluding holidays.
An ad should include the following: (1) Position Title; (2) Agency Name; (3) Salary and Benefits; (4) Job Description/Responsibilities; (5) Minimum Qualifications; (6) Other Pertinent Information to Applicant; (7) Closing Date for Application or Apply Immediately; (8) Information such as Contact Person, Name of Agency, Address, Telephone Number, FAX Number, E-mail Address, etc.; and (9) Affirmative Action or Equal Opportunity Information.
Invoices will be sent and/or credit cards will be charged when ad/ads are placed on the GovtJobs.com website. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit cards.
The number of postings varies. Generally, we have between 300 and 900 postings at any time in the various Job Categories. Our job postings are easily accessible to potential applicants and we require no registration or password to access these postings.
Our service does not provide job postings by geographic areas. However, if you want a listing by state, just enter the state name in our “Search All Job Listing” box to access a state by state listing. Otherwise, all jobs are posted in specific “Job Categories.”
